rtCamp is an enterprise WordPress consultancy and WordPress VIP Gold Agency Partner. We work with global brands like Google, Cox Enterprises, The Indian Express, and Al Jazeera—helping them build, scale, and manage complex digital publishing platforms.
We also build products. EasyEngine is a command-line tool that simplifies WordPress hosting. GoDAM is our digital asset management solution built on WordPress.
The Role
We're looking for an Associate Director, Brand & Creative to own how rtCamp, EasyEngine, and GoDAM show up in the world.
This is a dual mandate:
1. Brand Architect
You'll define and codify what each brand stands for—then build/maintain the systems that keep everything consistent. This means developing brand positioning, visual identity guidelines, design systems, written content templates for decks and social media, and landing page frameworks. You won't be executing these yourself, but you'll direct designers, content writers, social media teams to ensure every touchpoint reflects the brand accurately.
You're the custodian. When something goes out with our name on it, it meets your standard.
2. Video IP Creator
You'll build our organic video presence from scratch. Think YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram—formats and series that establish our brands as thought leaders in their respective domains.
Truly helpful content that prioritizes substance over polish, insight over noise.
The specific formats will emerge as we experiment together. Your job is to develop the strategy, direct the execution, and iterate until we find what works.
What You'll Do
Brand & Creative Direction
- Maintain/Define brand positioning for rtCamp, EasyEngine, and GoDAM—including messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice
- Build brand guidelines, design systems, and templates that scale across the organization
- Direct the creation of landing pages, pitch decks, social media assets, and marketing collateral
- Be the final quality gate for any content representing our brands
- Collaborate with content writers, social media managers, and designers to ensure consistency
Video & Original Content
- Develop a video content strategy for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Create and iterate on video formats and series that build audience and establish thought leadership
- Lead a small team of editors to produce content at a consistent cadence
- Track what's working, kill what isn't, and continuously refine the approach
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand alignment
- Partner with subject matter experts across the company to develop content
- Manage external vendors and freelancers as needed
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 7+ years in brand, creative, or content roles—ideally a mix of agency and in-house
- Track record of building or significantly evolving a brand
- Experience creating video content in a professional context—bonus if you've built a YouTube channel or video series
- Experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or professional services preferred
- Experience managing creative teams
