B2B Newsletter Content Writer

RemoteINR 6,00,000 - 18,00,000/year (~ USD 6,000 - 21,000/year)

APPLY NOW

If you have a knack for turning business updates, insights, and announcements into content people actually look forward to opening—this role is for you.

At rtCamp, we’re looking for a storyteller who understands the rhythm of B2B communication, someone who can make newsletters feel human, insightful, and indispensable to enterprise readers.

You’ll craft newsletters that do more than just inform - they’ll spark curiosity, nurture relationships, and drive engagement across our audience of decision-makers, clients, and industry peers. Your focus will span themes around WordPress, Frappe/ERPNext, and the broader open-source ecosystem, showcasing how open-source technologies are shaping the future of enterprise digital experiences and business automation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understand rtCamp’s brand positioning, solutions and how they uniquely deliver value to our clients.
  2. Plan, write, and edit B2B newsletters that deliver value – not noise. Every send should inform, inspire, or engage our enterprise audience.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to curate stories, updates, and insights that showcase what’s happening across rtCamp, our clients’ ecosystems, and the broader industry – blending expertise, impact, and perspective.
  4. Repurpose existing content (blogs, case studies, thought leadership pieces) into compelling newsletter stories with fresh perspectives.
  5. Segment and personalize messaging for different audiences – from technology leaders exploring digital transformation to marketing directors evaluating new solutions.
  6. Track performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, engagement) and use them to refine newsletter strategy over time.
  7. Ensure brand consistency across every issue. Tone, design, and structure should feel unmistakably rtCamp.
  8. Stay on top of industry trends - know what’s being discussed in enterprise tech, open source, and digital experience spaces so our newsletters lead, not follow.
  9. Collaborate with designers to make sure layout, visuals, and CTAs elevate the storytelling, not distract from it.
  10. Experiment with formats, from editorial-style issues to thematic deep dives, event recaps, or mini case studies - always keeping audience engagement at the core.

Must Haves

Apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes or even if you have a niche expertise within the role.

  1. 2+ years of experience creating newsletters or editorial content for B2B or enterprise audiences, supported by a proven portfolio that highlights performance metrics, audience impact, and key takeaways from past campaigns.
  2. Familiarity with the Frappe/ERPNext, WordPress, open-source, or custom software ecosystem - or the ability to quickly understand and write for similar technical industries.
  3. Strong storytelling instincts and editorial judgment - you understand what makes readers scroll, click, and keep coming back.
  4. Exceptional command of English, with the ability to shift tone seamlessly between formal, conversational, and thought-leadership styles.
  5. Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo and Linkedin Newsletters.
  6. Data-driven mindset - you can interpret engagement metrics and refine content strategy based on insights.
  7. Well-versed in digital marketing trends, B2B buyer behavior, and content that drives both awareness and action.

Good to Have

  1. Experience writing for technology, SaaS, or open-source-focused brands.
  2. Understanding of CRM workflows and how newsletters tie into lead nurturing or brand engagement.
  3. A personal newsletter, Substack, or blog that demonstrates your voice and writing depth.
  4. Experience collaborating in an agency or enterprise content environment.
