APPLY NOW

If you enjoy turning complex technical concepts into stories that inspire business stakeholders to take action, this role is for you.

We’re looking for a Technical Content Writer who understands how things work under the hood especially in the world of custom enterprise software, SaaS alternatives, and ERP.  You’ll help us tell stories about how custom enterprise software built on open-source platforms can transform the way enterprises operate, scale, and collaborate.

From in-depth guides and blogs to case studies, newsletters, and product pages, your words will turn engineering insights into business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Write thought-provoking articles, guides, and whitepapers that position us as experts in the Frappe and ERPNext ecosystem covering everything from implementation best practices to open-source ERP innovation.
  2. Craft persuasive, benefit-driven landing pages that address real enterprise pain points - legacy ERP migration, customization challenges, and scalability concerns.
  3. Develop case studies that tell real transformation stories: how we’ve helped organizations streamline operations, unify departments, and scale faster using Frappe or ERPNext.
  4. Create newsletters people actually want to read - insightful, engaging, and packed with updates from the Frappe and open-source ERP world.
  5. Write scroll-stopping social copy for LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and other platforms - content that starts conversations among CTOs, CIOs, and business leaders exploring ERP modernization.
  6. Translate complex ERP solutions into clear, relatable narratives - whether it’s explaining custom module development, workflow automation, or API integrations, make it easy for both technical and non-technical audiences to grasp.
  7. Keep our content error-free and sharp, attention to detail matters when you’re writing for enterprises evaluating mission-critical ERP platforms.
  8. Stay plugged into the Frappe and ERPNext ecosystem - know what’s new in core updates, app integrations, and industry adoption trends across manufacturing, distribution, and services.
  9. Balance long-form depth and short-form clarity: whether it’s a 3,000-word implementation guide or a crisp product update, tailor tone and style for maximum impact.
  10. Refine and elevate existing content - optimize structure, tone, and positioning to strengthen our authority in the enterprise ERP and open-source space.
  11. Analyze performance metrics for published content and adapt based on engagement and conversion data.
  12. Maintain a balance between technical depth, readability, and SEO while creating content.

Must Haves

Apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes or even if you have a niche expertise within the role.

  1. 3+ years of experience writing about ERP systems, custom software, or open-source frameworks in an enterprise context, with a proven portfolio of published content.
  2. Solid understanding of the broader ERP ecosystem, how businesses evaluate, adopt, and scale ERP platforms.
  3. Ability to interview engineers or delivery teams, understand complex ERP or software implementations, and translate them into business outcomes.
  4. Excellent command of English and strong storytelling skills especially when simplifying technical concepts.
  5. Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to balance keyword strategy with natural storytelling.
  6. Strong research skills to stay updated with the latest trends in ERP, SaaS, and open-source ecosystems.

Good to Have

  1. Previous experience working with Frappe/ERPNext, Odoo, SAP, or similar ERP systems as a user, manager, or content writer/marketer.
  2. Understanding of open-source software ecosystems and their business models.
  3. Experience writing for an IT services company, especially, non-vanilla content.
  4. A personal blog, Substack, or LinkedIn where you write about tech or business software.
